Product Description
A tungsten heavy alloy cylinder is a cylindrical-shaped object made from a tungsten heavy alloy. Tungsten heavy alloys are materials that consist of tungsten as the primary component, along with small amounts of other elements such as nickel, iron, or copper. These alloys have a high density and excellent mechanical properties, making them ideal for various applications.
Tungsten heavy alloy cylinders are commonly used in industries such as aerospace, defense, and medical. They are often used as counterweights, radiation shielding, or in high-temperature applications. The high density of tungsten heavy alloys allows for compact and efficient designs, while their excellent mechanical properties ensure durability and reliability.
The shape and size of tungsten heavy alloy cylinders can vary depending on the specific application. They can be custom-made to meet the requirements of different industries and projects. Additionally, the surface of the cylinders can be machined or finished to achieve the desired specifications.
Overall, tungsten heavy alloy cylinders are essential components in many industries due to their high density, excellent mechanical properties, and versatility in various applications.
Applications for Tungsten Alloy Cylinders
Tungsten alloy cylinders can be easily used for car weighting by drilling one or more 25/64" or larger diameter holes into the block and then inserting the desired number of cylinders. The hole can then be plugged with a piece of 3/8 inch dowel rod. The product also is manufactured as the parts of military defense, extrusion die, various counterweights, such as yacht counterweights, vehicle counterweights, airplane counterweights, helicopter counterweights, boat counterweights, tank counterweights, etc.
Usually, tungsten alloy cylinder could be manufactured as the parts for military applications, extrusion die and various kinds of counterweights.
