Tungsten Copper Tungsten Alloy Electrode Slice

Tungsten Copper Alloy (Copper Tungsten, CuW, or WCu) is a composite metal of copper and tungsten which possessed many excellent characteristic of tungsten and copper. The alloy combines the properties of both metals, and melting point of tungsten is high(melting point of tungsten is 3410℃, and copper is 1083℃), density is big(density of tungsten is 19.34g/cm3, copper is 8.92g/cm3); electric conductivity and heat-conducting property is great for copper. Microstructure of tungsten copper alloy (normal range of composition is WCu7~WCu50) is well-distributed resulting in a material that is heat-resistant, ablation-resistant, highly thermally and electrically conductive, and easy to machine. Therefore, tungsten copper alloy are widely used in military heat resistance material, electrician alloy used in HV switch, electromachining electrode, microelectronic material, and acted as parts and components popular used in fields of aerospace, aviation, electronic, electric power, metallurgy, machinery, sport equipment etc..

Tungsten Copper Alloy Classification

Tungsten copper alloy, is also called tungsten copper, its classification combines the properties of both metals, resulting in a material that is heat-resistant, ablation-resistant, highly thermally and electrically conductive, and easy to machine. Parts are made from the WCu alloy by pressing the tungsten copper classification particles into a desired shape, sintering the compacted part and then infiltrating with molten copper. The manufacturing process is as follows: press the refractory metal, sinter the pressed compact at a high temperature, and infiltrate it with copper. The result is a relatively hard material with superior arc and wear resistance, good physical  properties:  at  elevated  temperatures,  and  good  electrical  and  thermal   conductivity.

Copper tungsten alloy tube is a kind of tungsten copper alloy product that has the ability to provide stable cutting in carbide and other refractory metals. It is most widely used to machine tungsten carbide when fine surface finishes are required. Composition proportion of tungsten copper alloy tube small diameter is 60/40 (60% Tungsten, 40% copper) composition. Tungsten Copper Alloy Wire

Direction for Use:

1.There using the wire. It is not suitable for the wire to contact with iron, nickel, carbon, when the temperature is

higher than 1000℃. The wires should be preserved in dry room, in which the relative humidity

should not surpass 65%, and keep away from acid or alkali atmosphere.

2. Cleaned wires should be preserved in dry environment.
