Prefabricated Fragmentation & Defense Tech

Our technological innovation enables the precise pre-control of shell fragments. By utilizing advanced grooving techniques or optimizing the lining of explosives, we manage the structural integrity of the shell. This ensures the controlled dispersion of uniform, highly effective fragments upon detonation.

Prefabricated fragments, such as steel balls, steel arrows, tungsten balls, and tungsten columns, are pre-designed in shape and mass. These are integrated into the inner or outer surfaces of grenade projectiles. Upon detonation, they create a highly concentrated and predictable fragmentation field, maximizing lethal efficiency and structural consistency.

High Chamber Pressure Applications

Because prefabricated fragments can affect the structural integrity of a missile body, they are typically applied in specialized low-pressure chamber systems, such as forced large-caliber artillery and grenades. However, modern high chamber pressure systems, such as the Swiss L70-type 40 mm grenade, now incorporate tungsten carbide ball matrices to withstand extreme operational forces.

Tungsten columns, due to their exceptionally high density and armor-piercing capabilities, are extensively used as active elements in air defense, anti-radiation, and anti-surface systems.
